Privacy Policy
cloudgroup is a small technology consulting firm owned and operated by Mark Brogowicz. This page describes what information we collect through cloudgroup.com and how we use it. We aim for a short, honest policy rather than boilerplate legalese.
What the site collects
The cloudgroup.com site is informational. It does not have user accounts, it does not process payments, and it does not track you across other websites.
- Contact form submissions. If you fill in the contact form on the home page, your name, email address, and message are sent to us so we can reply. The form is handled by Formspree, a third-party service that forwards submissions to our email.
- Basic server logs. Standard web-server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) are recorded by our hosting provider for operational and security purposes. These logs are not used for advertising or profiling.
- Cookies. The site itself does not set tracking cookies. Embedded third-party resources (such as Google Fonts) may set their own cookies under their own policies.
Third-party services
- Formspree — handles contact form submissions. See Formspree's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on the site. See Google's privacy policy.
- Railway and Cloudflare — host and serve the site. They process standard server logs described above.
cloudgroup also uses Google OAuth (via Google APIs) for internal tooling — for example, reading and writing documents in our own Google Workspace. This is not something site visitors interact with. We do not request OAuth access to visitors' Google accounts from this site.
How we use the information
We use information from the contact form only to respond to your message and, if appropriate, to continue a business conversation with you. We don't sell, rent, or share that information with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
Contact information is kept in our email and business records for as long as it's reasonably useful for the business relationship, and no longer. You can email us at any time to ask that we delete what we hold about you.
Your rights
You can email mbrogowicz@cloudgroup.com to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
The cloudgroup.com site is intended for business audiences. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we'll update the effective date above and post the revised policy at this URL.
